Spontane Qigong

Mijn wens

This masterclass is meant for Medical practitioners who want their patients and themselves to benefit from the full potential the NeiDan Internal practices of Daoism. Beginning to learn and understand the teaching of the NeiDan, the possibilities and potential of the self-healing abilities will start to unfold. It will be a lifetime study, so getting properly acquainted with how to practice the internal arts is crucial. This workshop with prof. dr. Leung will put you right on track.
Dr. Leung Y K (aka Shi DeLon) has spent 50 years in learning, training and researching the ancient Chinese concepts of Human energy (RenQi) initiated “ACHE RECHEARCH”. It stands for Ancient Chinese Human Energy Research.
The project aims to look into the history, philosophy, theory and methodology of Human energy practices in China, mostly focusing on the ancient practice of ‘XingQiDaoYinShu’, known today as QiGong and TaiJiQuan. The main ‘Objectivity’ of ACHE is to separate ‘Spiritual’ or ‘Religious’ elements of the energy practices and study the knowledge in an academic and scientific way. ACHE research aims to provide a modern interpretation of the ancient practices in order to further develop the Methodology of GongFa and thus maximising the benefits and understandings. It is also one of the few organisations, which specialise not only in the theory, history, and medical case studies of the ‘ZiFaGong’ or what is now known as spontaneous QiGong (discussed later). ‘ZiFaGong’ is an age-old and the most powerful ‘self-healing’ therapy of the human mind and body, which has been lost throughout history and is often misunderstood today.
The ultimate (wider) objective of ACHE research is to establish a safe, publicly available curriculum, which will enable all people to tap into their innate potential as human beings, with the ability to boost the immune system to not only cure illness and disease but to prevent sicknesses on a wider scale. With the science and technology available to mankind today, the likelihood of this becoming a reality beckons ever closer.

Program:

12:00 -15:00 Prof. dr. Leung will give a lecture in the first part of the afternoon.
15:00 -18:00 And in the second part of the afternoon there will plenty room for practice and demonstration.

About the teacher:

Prof. Dr. Leung PhD
(aka 31st generation ShaoLin laymonk Shi DeLon)
2nd generation HK Daoist ChiWuTan disciple Leung SumLunDr. Leung has a lifetime practice in Chinese martial arts.
After many years of training being a 31e generation Shaolin Laymonk dr. Leung has realised fast skills and deep insights in 5000 years of Internal NeiDan Daoist Medicine
He is the Vice-chairman of the National Grade II Internal NeiDan Daoist Medicine research, BeiJing university; and visiting Professor of many universities.

After attending the University in London he dedicated his life working for the Temple School to promote cultural and charitable works between the Chinese and British communities. His training curve was very long and expansive because he returned to the SongShan ShaoLin Temple almost every other year until now. This commitment and these efforts resulted in making his dream come true of bringing the ShaoLin Temple to Britain
In 2000, the old Abbot Shi SueXie received YK Leung as the 31st generation ShaoLin monk and granted him the ShaoLin name of Shi DeLon.
Being an official ShaoLin monk, the secrets of ShaoLin ‘Internal training NeiJiaQuan’ was shown to him by senior monks such as Shi DeJian; Shi DeLin and Shi DeHong. Apart from learning from his teachers at the ShaoLin Temple, he also spent time with teachers of Chen TaiChiQuan in ChenJiaoGou. ShiFu Chen ShiTong, ShiFu XueGuMing and ShiFu ChenZhangLei. The latter accepted him as indoor student which made him a disciple of the 12th generation of ChenJiaGou TaiChiQuan.
All of his TaiChiQuan teachers’ extensive knowledge has led him to further research the origin and practice of classical DaoYinShu, the ancient form of TaiChiQuan.
After decades of external QiGong training dr Leung has cultivated the ultimate martial skill – ‘Steel Jacket’. This extraordinary achievement in Human energy allowed him to take very heavy physical punishments on his delicate human body, which is usually unsustainable for a normal person.
During his part-time teaching, some of his students told him that his energy seemed to have a healing effect on their physical and / or mental problems. This encouraged him to return to China to pursue the more advanced ‘soft QiGong’ training. He soon became a full-time physician in Daoist Medicine helping others to ‘self-heal’ themselves from drug/drink addictions, psychological problems to various physiological illnesses. Since then he has been teaching and giving healing sessions in hospitals and universities in many countries such as Britain, Ireland, Spain, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, USA, Hong Kong and various provinces within China.
In 2005 at the age of 53, dr Leung was accepted at ShanDong University by Professor JiangSheng to further research into the Ancient Chinese Human Energy work of XingQiDaoYinShu. May 2012 this resulted in his full ‘PhD Doctoral degree’ from the University and the Educational Department of the Chinese government.
